Beware, hidden fees!

I've been a long-time customer & fan of Root but was recently charged a late fee. The kicker is that they didn't even notify me.

I noticed the additional amount on my credit card and had to call their customer service to get clarify on the discrepancy with what I was quoted for my premium.

Customer service reps super friendly but not empowered by their leadership to make things right.

Sadly, I had to cancel my policy and find another insurer. Frustrating experience.

Very very expensive for no reason.

This company offered coverage to me with my state's minimum coverage. The quote was quick and easy. The gentleman was helpful and informative.

Route saved me over $200 a month versus my old insurance company thank you so much.

I like the app but there's no way to differentiate you from dropping and being a passenger so it holds someone else's driving against you

I have had Root insurance since May 2021. I received a Notice of Adverse Action letter. Your premium is NOT based on your driving record. I have not had a ticket in years. They did nothing to help me file a claim when another driver hit my car. They advised I would have to file the claim with the other insurance carrier. When my policy renews they want to raise my insurance rates by $60 a month to over $200 a month. I have found auto insurance cheaper than that. My insurance in Michigan was that much for two vehicles. I only have one car. I will never do business with Root insurance again.

Quick service, low price!!

I love Root! I used Root in Ohio for a few years before moving to Florida. At first they did not offer coverage in FL, but as soon as I found out they were I immediately switched back to Root! Best insurance company in the USA!

This company for no reason other than saying it based the increase from living standards and weather in the area from 297.00 month to 420.00 Month without warning the policy had no claims or any delays in payment as sit was on autopay after trying to get this repaired I was forced to go with another company for the same coverage for 169.00 month while talking to the licensed rep after saying I wanted to cancel the policy she said you will get a email and hung up the phone. The website they have has no way to navigate around your policy to make changes or cancel. This company is a rip off in every way.
They replied saying they enjoyed having me as a customer Yes I bet taking more money out of my bank then I agreed and then being crappy and smart mouthed when I called and asked why. This company needs to be closed by the better business Burrough
